The line we teach under.
The conviction behind the method, the people who built it, and the work it points toward.
सर्वेऽपि सुखिनः सन्तु
Sarve'pi sukhinaḥ santu
May all beings live in harmony.
This is the line ALIGN is built under. It is also the line we hold ourselves accountable to.
Yoga, taught well, has the capacity to reach what most other things cannot — the chronic pain that medicine has stopped offering answers for, the anxiety that has become background noise, the slow structural drift that turns into something serious if it is left alone.
ALIGN exists to make that path available not just as an aspiration but as an actual, structured route that is affordable enough to reach everyone, rigorous enough to hold up in a high-stress environment, and classical enough to honour where it came from.

Hitesh J
Founder · ALIGN Method® · Author
Why I built a system, not another yoga class.
Hitesh J began his practice in 2009 under a direct lineage teacher in Pune. Over the following twelve years he completed formal training in Iyengar Yoga, Ashtanga, Pranayama, and Yoga Sutras study — before beginning the systematic documentation work that would become the ALIGN Method®.
He has taught in healthcare settings, defence institutions, and corporate environments — 10,000+ documented teaching hours across group classes, teacher training, and one-on-one therapeutic work. He has published two books on the method, and continues to see students and run teacher training programs from Pune.
His view: yoga in India has been fragmented and commercialised. What people actually need is not another yoga class, but a structured, systemised intervention. That is what ALIGN is built to provide.
At ALIGN she leads
- Iyengar Yoga (foundational & advanced)
- Ashtakriya
- Yoga Sutras & philosophy
- Teacher Training (200-HR program)
- Institutional & corporate programs
Indian yoga has become commercialised into fragmented classes. What people actually need is structured, systemised intervention — one method that integrates the physical, breath, and philosophical dimensions of the practice into a coherent system.
That is what ALIGN is. Not another yoga class. A method.

Seema Naik
Director of Education · Senior Teacher
Seema Naik — the therapeutic spine of the method.
Seema Naik is senior teacher and teacher-training faculty at ALIGN. With close to 3,000 teaching hours, she leads the Yoga Pilates, Women’s Health, and Therapeutic classes — as well as prenatal care programs.
She joined ALIGN after completing her formal yoga teacher training and a focused post-graduate study in women’s health and prenatal practice. Her teaching approach combines structural precision with deep attentiveness to individual bodies.
She is the therapeutic spine of the method: the teacher students come to when pain is the primary concern, and when the body needs to be met with patience and intelligence.
At ALIGN she leads
- Yoga Pilates
- Therapeutic Yoga (back, hips, knees, shoulders)
- Women's Health & prenatal care
- Teacher Training faculty
The body always tells the truth. A good teacher listens before they instruct. In women's health and therapeutic work especially, this is the first and most important skill.
